Twenty years in Niles, a lifetime in the kitchen.
Our family came to America in 1999 and grew up in the kitchen of my uncle's restaurant in Ypsilanti, Michigan — learning the business one order, one wok, one late night at a time.
In 2005, my mother gathered everything she had and bought this restaurant, and China One as you know it was born. Our family carries more than sixty years of Chinese-American restaurant experience.
Since 2006, we've been right here on South 11th Street, cooking for the people of this noble city. This restaurant is a complete labor of love — Niles is everything to us. 2026 marks our twentieth year, and we owe every one of them to you. Thank you for being here for us.
